I am making a list.. and adding more to it

So this is one of the most exciting and excruciating part of building a new house. you get a blank canvas and you can fill it up. But then who knew these colors are sooo expensive. There are some necessities and some not so necessary things, which are necessary to me and some are necessary to husband. but at the end it all is necessary.. Lets get on to the real stuff now. Please leave suggestions/ comments..

Refrigerator - I have my eyes on this baby. GE Profile 27.7 Cu feet

Washer Dryer - Clean laundry comes with a price.. Sigh!! We are going to look for a good deal with good reviews. not too picky on this one.

The big TV and surround sound - Panasonic 65 inch 4K

Couch and Love seat- whats the fun of a TV if u don't have a comfy couch to watch it on. La-Z-Boy Reese Sofa and Loveseat.

Now the Console and side tables and Coffee table

Office furniture for hubby - ???

And whats that beautiful morning room without a nice dining table - I came across this store at Etsy. how does it look?? Is this a safe bet or should I look at some place else??

And not to forget the bunk bed my kid wants so bad. and the mattresses to accompany.

Wow.. its overwhelming!! And not to forget blinds/ fans/ pendant lights/ lamps/ ladder/ Garage door openers/ organizing stuff n all.. where r u my money tree??

  3. I am planning to buy the following washer and dryer:

Samsung 4.5 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer & 7.4 cu. ft. Dryer Bundle

Sears, Home Depot and Lowes all carry it. They are nice sized and seem to be really good quality. If you get it on sale, you can pick them up for $1200 (total).

  4. I read on another blog you were looking to purchase bunk beds. In case you didn't get a chance to read my comment, here it is:

"If you are willing to purchase a bunk bed online, I would recommend Bunk Bed King (http://www.bunkbedking.com/). We ended up buying the boys about a year ago the "Honey Tall Twin Stairway Bunk Bed" for $598 with free shipping (http://www.bunkbedking.com/bunk-bed-tall-stairway-honey). It was easy to put together, good quality and cheap."

  5. Thank you Nick. I am actually going to order online. Thanks for sharing the site. looks like they have way better prices than Wayfair. and We actually saw a few washer/ Driers over the weekend. I am leaning towards a front load since I want to add a shelf over them for folding laundry. I like this one from costco. And if you buy from Costco, no need to get extended plans and all. If I am lucky, they might have a rebate going on for a couple hundred dollars sometimes.

  6. We love Costco too and love their warranty policy. We have a front load washer and dryer with pedestals now. But my wife hates them. The extra height moves the center of gravity up and causes more shaking. She is always asking me to adjust the bases. That's why we're buying new ones where the washer is top load with no pedestals. Especially with being upstairs we don't want them to shake all the time.
