Rite Rug

Wow.. I cannot believe we just had the Rite Rug meeting. It really went supper good. and I came back home very satisfied and happy with the choices we made.

for the most part we stuck to basics. the choices we made are:

1. Upgraded Vinyl flooring in Foyer, powder room, kitchen and the morning room to Station Square. This one looked much better and was more stain resistant.

2. Tiles for Master bathroom and Hall bathroom (floor only), we have opted for fiberglass walk in shower for master bath instead of the tub.

3. Upgraded carpet to level 1 and pad to 8lbs in the family room for $400.

4. Standard carpet and pad in the rest of the house.

These are our selections

  1. Hey Star, found your blog :)

that meeting was sooo stressful for us, we were told one price for a kind of overall starting point and ended up......super over!! After being in the house for 2 years now, I wish I had upgraded all the carpet, we got basic carpet too and already looks so worn and stained, it did not FAIR well at all!! Hate IT. and our hardwood is beautiful, dark cherry, but impossible to keep clean and knicks up so easily. The carpet we did upgrade looks great, wish i did that throughout the house :(.

  3. We went knowing the basic carpet is not so great. But with our kids we would have to replace in next few years. So maybe lets spoil the not so nice one and add the nice one when they are a lil bit grown up.
